Almost halfway home!

Look Auntie April - it fits! It was actually hot enough in the baby house today that I could get away with dressing Jenya in short sleeves. She loved her new shirt, thank you so much! She kept patting the words on it as if she knew who it was from. Then we had snack and she gets tea out of a regular cup with no sippy lid, so she was soaked by the end of it. We usually have to change her at least once a day while we’re visiting. Maybe I should just buy Jenya her own sippy cup to use for snack time! It was so cute today, the caregivers put Rick to work while I was feeding Jenya. He gave bottles to TWO babies in the time I gave Jenya her cereal and tea. I wish we could have gotten pictures, but there were no free hands to take them. I think the caregivers were really happy to have the help with feeding. I counted today and there are 11 babies in Jenya’s room and usually only 2 caregivers there at once.

We got killed this week with internet charges! It takes a long time to download pictures to the blog and usually I lose connection in the middle, making it take that much longer. So unfortunately we may have to cut down to just one or two pictures a day to see if that helps bring down the cost. Sorry Nonna - but we’ll be home soon with tons of pictures to look through!

  5. We've left Maine and traveling home. After leaving our apt. we decided to stop for breakfast at a place we've never tried before. Guess what? We met Ricks nephew and Kelly's son, Chris. He was at the table next to us. It was a very smallrestaurant called the Omlette Factory. We were so surprised ! They were also on their way hme.

  6. Kelly - we couldn't believe it when we saw Chris at that restaurant sitting right next to us. What a small world. I'm sure he was just as surprised. We had great weather all week.

  8. I JUST LOVE THAT FIRST PICTURE!!! I'm so glad it actually fit her. That is a size 9mos from Carters so that means she really is fitting in 9-12mos. that gives us an idea so we can shop anyway.

Go Rick. Leave it to him to be the first man inthe baby house to feed the other babies. I am not at all surprised...

We'll take any pictures you can send. Seeing the real thing will be even better. I can't even believe you are halfway there. I hope tomorrow goes quickly, I know Sundays must be a very long day away from your baby girl.
