Daddy has Jenya hooked on the big ball! Guess who's buying it for her?!

Jenya can't get enough of bouncing on this ball in the playroom. When we stop bouncing she just keeps on going bobbing her head up and down and kicking her feet. She's got us cracking up all the time. We were visited by a woman from the Ministry of Education while we were playing. Once we were introduced we got a little nervous. She has all the power to give a good referral on our behalf to the judge. It seemed to go well, but the MOE meeting and court are still weighing on our minds. We just can't wait to hear the words that Jenya is ours. Only a few more weeks!

Will try to post some more pictures later, but we're stressing about how to get hard copies off of the cameras for court. We are required to have 15 pics of each day of bonding with the date on the back. When we went to the Kodak store, our memory cards were too big! They couldn't be read in the machine. Then Catherine bought a new card and it didn't work in her camera. What a fiasco. So now I'm trying to burn photos onto a CD and see if the machine accepts that. Uncle Jim, if you're reading this, do you have any other ideas??

Our love goes out to you all for the amazing support we've received from everyone. We absolutely love all the comments, please keep them coming. Anyone watch The Next Food Network Star? Who was kicked off last time? I guess I could just check the Food Network website, but it's more fun to talk about it with someone who watches it!

By the way, we tried Karaganda beer the other night and it is fabulous! I wish we could somehow bring it home with us. A whole pint cost either 200 or 250 tenge, which is $1.33 or $1.66. And it's on tap at our hotel! We're hoping to check out the bowling alley soon, and we'll definitely get pictures of that. The bowling alley is also located right in our hotel. Have a great weekend everyone!

  5. She just loves that bouncy ball!!! You can see her feet keep kicking after you stopped bouncing her. She's so adorable and she says Da Da. Rick must surely love hearing that.
You should ask Janice or Cathy to contact someone who's just been there to see how they managed getting their pictures done.
You are a great couple who are wonderful parents so don't worry about court or the MOE - God is in control just as he has been through all your other trials
Love and kisses to Jenya, you and Rick

  7. I love her little feet kicking when you stopped. Kennedy said she wants to try that too. She wants to be ready to play with baby goldfriend when she returns.
We are all praying everyday. Jenya was meant to be yours and I have not one worry that things will not go smoothly. I can understand why you are worried though. You will not feel ok until your baby and the both of you are all home together.

  9. sometimes cameras have internal memory where you can save a small amount right onto the camera. If yours has that you might be able then plug your camera USB into their computer to print. Or, are you able to get your pictures on to the computer you are using? Then you could purchase a jumpdrive that is small enough for the Kodak place and transfer them onto there? just some ideas. Good luck, I am sure everything will work out, but I can see how you are worried. How about showing these videos? Any judge could see this baby chose you two not the other way around! Good luck!!

  12. I showed mommy and daddy the blog yesterday. They both think shes beautiful. The whole time mommys watching, she looks at me and says "thats my granddaughter, isn't she beautiful". Other news from home, Ozzi got skunked last night so on top of all his other health issues, that we have been dealing with for the last six months, he smells really, really bad. Poor boy!lol. No worries, only happy thoughts and sweet dreams allowed. Just show them this blog, and they will see that she has an entire family and many friends that have fallen in love with her. You will be bringing her home to us.

  13. Aunt Joannie and I can't wait to meet this little beauty. She is the best. As for the photos, I don't understand exactly what the problem is?

Keep posting, we love to see and hear.

  14. After seeing you guys playing with her on the ball, how could the MOE possibly have a problem? I know they have a secret "stone face" training program...but 'cmon, that was just too cute...that oughta melt the heart of even a bureacrat!
