Outdoor Fun

We spent a lot of time outside with Jenya today. She loves to take walks in the stroller and pull on the leaves she finds along the way. We even wore her out by the end of the visit - she fell asleep in my arms on the swing set. Rick and I are having the most amazing time with our daughter and can’t believe we only have a few more days with her here in Karaganda. Today we handed in our baby bags full of everything they need to bring Jenya and Tyler to Almaty to meet us next month! Get ready Nonna, it’s coming up soon!

  1. You can just see her inspecting and studying everything. I love the last picture, she just looks so at ease in your arms.(and so do you). I can only imagine how hard it will be to leave at the end of the week. We will try our best to keep you distracted as much as possible.

P.s. I think Nonna has been ready since you sent her the very first picture of Jenya : )

  4. Still can not believe that she had not been outside, before you got there. Jenya looks as if she really likes it.
And April, my sister has been ready for YEARS, not weeks. :) She would be there now if she could, waiting for the pickup date.... :)))

  6. She is a thumb sucker just like her Nonna. It runs in the family. Just love the look on her little face as she explores her outside world for the first time. It will be wonderful to watch her explore her new home, her kitties and Zeus.

She looks so peaceful and "at home" in your arms. It's precious to see how at ease she is in your care-in just a few shorts weeks you guys have given her years worth of love!

  8. She is so freakin' cute! I can't imagine what you're going to do with yourself in the intervening weeks... House cleaning? Shopping? Lots of shopping! :) If you want a baby-shopping buddy after work, let me know!
